Charlottetown Festival - Live @ The Centre - Confederation Centre of the Arts Theatre - Canada

Dylan Menzie* December 8, 2017 7:30 pmTickets: $25

With a sprawling vocal range and compelling approach to composition, PEI’s Dylan Menzie has already made an indelible mark in the talent-rich Atlantic Canadian music market with sites now set Internationally. He’s performed alongside acts like City & Colour and Ron Sexsmith and at major events like Edmonton Folk Music Festival.

Description

Dylan Menzie’s first hometown show in over a year is sure to be a special one. In addition to selections from his heralded releases Heather Avenue and Adolescent Nature – including the CBC Radio 2 chart-topping “Kenya” – Dylan and his band will showcase some new songs and a handful of holiday favourites. He'll be joined by special guests KINLEY, Russell Louder and Ten Strings and a Goat Skin for an intimate evening of music, stories and more in one of PEI’s most iconic venues.

“Dylan Menzie is a Canadian treasure - a combination of Springsteen, Fleet Foxes and Jim James (My Morning Jacket)”. -Meg Shorette; Executive Director-Launchpad (Bangor, ME)

“His sound is a melodic roller coaster of pure tones, deliberately designed guitar-driven undercurrents, and lyrics that draw listeners to their glory days – the days of true love, good times, and the even mixture of innocence and grit that is the frivolity of youth.”  –The East Magazine
