UPCOMING EVENTS

- On January 20, Juno Award-winning Indigenous artist Susan Aglukark will present a concert at Confederation Centre. Members are invited to attend the concert, take part in her Q&A session and have an exclusive opportunity for a meet and greet after the show! Susan is an Inuk from Arviat; her January performance will include songs from her new album which tells the story of the journey of her Inuit ancestors as well as hit songs 'O Siem' and 'Hina Na Ho.'

  - The Shopkins are coming and we are inviting you to get behind the scenes! On April 7 the uber-popular with the under-7 set, the Shopkins, will be at the Homburg Theatre. We hear they have three tractor trailers full of sets and props and we are inviting a small group of members to observe the "load-in." Just try to imagine an empty stage, as it is transformed to a magical Shopkin village. Then take your young folk to see the show. Stay tuned for details in the coming months!

Circle Around the Centre is back! About the middle Wednesday of each month, from January till June, we are organizing a 2018 Circle Around the Centre luncheon series. Catherine Hennessey was the driving force behind our anniversary 2014 series and she has some fantastic new ideas for this year.
