AfterImage Set To Transform CCAG Into Late Night Art Party

March 29, 2016

(Charlottetown, P.E.I.) - Mark your calendars for Friday the 13th of May, as the Confederation Centre Art Gallery is launching an exciting new event. AfterImage: After Hours Art Party, is an evening devoted to art-lovers who also love a good party.

Featuring collaborations between artists and performers across multiple disciplines, AfterImage will fill galleries on multiple levels with a variety of artist-created experiences ranging from themed spaces, installations, and projections, to interactive activities, and of course dancing and lounging - all fueled by guest DJs, artist-performers, dancers, and musicians. This promises to be an unforgettable night in Charlottetown, and a completely new way of experiencing the art gallery.

The night's lineup of artists will include some surprise guests from around the region, as well as Willow Bell (Whaleskin), Andrew Cairns, Pascal Dufaux, Nathan Gill, Monica Lacey, Ali O'Sullivan, Graeme Patterson, Becka Viau, Mitchell Wiebe, Damien Worth, and more. A cash bar will be offered and patrons must be 19 years of age to attend.

AfterImage is one night only, and runs from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. on May 13, 2016. Tickets are available as of April 1 for $20 (plus tax and service fees) in advance from the Confederation Centre Box Office, or $25 (plus tax and service fees) at the door. For more information, visit
